Juan Avila, singer/songwriter for Chicago’s Hottest Band Gooey, recently had his song, “Busy Day,” featured in the film Workaholics Anonymous, from Rab Studios. Workaholics Anonymous is a quirky, light-hearted comedy about the trials and tribulations of self-employment. The film is scheduled for release this Fall.
The song “Busy Day” is from Gooey’s 2005 self-titled release plays a key role in the film and is also featured on the soundtrack album. “Busy Day” offers the gentle revelation that is a magical morning overture that keeps its gaze toward life’s new adventures, whilst still clutching onto the playful innocence of youth.
